With five national titles, Italian shot putter, Danielle Frederique Madam, is a symbol of change to athletes everywhere.

Though Danielle lived and studied in Italy from the age of six, she was born in Cameroon. Due
to a bureaucratic complication, she has been denied Italian citizenship and with it, national
recognition for her contributions to the sport.
